Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 3 is set to premiere in October 2024, i.e., Fall 2024, as confirmed by the official staff via a trailer on Sunday, July 7, 2024. The promotional video has also revealed the opening and ending theme song artists. Besides, a new key visual has been unveiled.

Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 3 serves as the continuation of the previous installment, which ran from July to September 2023 for 13 episodes. The upcoming sequel will be produced by a new subsidiary studio from Pierrot, branded as Pierrot Films. The series itself is an adaptation of the Thousand-Year Blood War arc from Tite Kubo's Bleach manga series.

On Sunday, July 7, 2024, the official staff for Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 3 streamed a promotional video at Anime Expo 2024 to announce that the sequel will be released in October 2024. Later, Aniplex streamed the PV, alongside a special video containing a key visual.

The trailer for Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 3 begins with special comments from Masakazu Morita (Ichigo's VA) and Noriaki Sugiyama (Uryu's VA). Following that, the video transitions to the Gotei 13 captains demonstrating their Bankai, including Shunsui Kyoraku, whose Bankai is yet to be shown in the anime.

The PV then shows Ichigo Kurosaki charging at Yhwach, wielding his Zanpakuto, Zangetsu. Interestingly, the trailer features several anime original scenes, like Ichigo vs. Uryu, along with the events from the manga in animated form.

The trailer also previews the opening and ending theme songs for Bleach: Thouand-Year Blood War Part 3. SIX LOUNGE performed the opening theme, Kotoba ni Zuzu to mo (Without Any Last Words), while Suiso sang the ED, Monochrome.

Comments from the artists have arrived on the anime's official site, where they revealed how passionately they worked on the songs.

Besides that, the special PV depicts a key visual featuring Ichigo Kurosaki, Orihime Inoue, Chad, and Ganju. Ichigo wields the new blades he forged after accepting the truth about Zangetsu. Undoubtedly, the visual sets the mood for the anime.


Cast and staff for Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 3

The sequel will feature the returning cast members, with Masakazu Morita voicing Ichigo Kurosaki, Yasumoto Hiroki as Chad, Yuki Matsuoka as Orihime Inoue, Fumiko Orikasa as Rukia, Kentaro Ito as Renji, Noriaki Sugiyama as Uryu, Takayuki Sugo as Yhwach, and others.

There's a slight alteration in the staff, with Murata Hikaru replacing Tomohisa Taguchi as the director at Pierrot Films. Tomohisa-san is now enlisted as the general manager. He is also the series composer alongside Masaki Hiramatsu.

Masashi Kudo returns as the character designer, while Toru Hasegawa, Sei Komatsubara, and Kumiko Takayanagi are the chief animation directors. Shiro Sagisu remains the music composer for Part 3, with Nagasaki Yukio as the sound director.

Based on Tite Kubo's manga series, Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 3 continues the battle between the Soul Reapers and the Quincies. The King of Quincy, Yhwach, was seemingly defeated by Ichibei in the previous season.

However, he awakens his actual powers to return to the battlefield. Meanwhile, Ichigo and others are on their way to the Soul King's Palace to confront their nemesis. The upcoming season will contain unbelievable action, with the Soul Reapers pushing their limits against the Quincies.
