On Saturday, December 28, 2024, the official staff streamed a new promotional video seconds after the conclusion of the series' third installment, announcing the production of Bleach: Thousand-year Blood War part 4: The Calamity.

While the PV doesn't reveal a release date or window for the final cour, it is embedded with many references to the final installment's narrative. The announcement PV features Ichigo Kurosaki's dual Zanpakuto. Ichigo's Zangetsu is seen turning white, which is a direct teaser to his Horn of Salvation form.

Additionally, the PV contains footage of Ichigo Kurosaki's broken Zangetsu. The video ends with a visual of Ichigo, and the final cour's title (The Calamity), beside him written in Kanji.

Hulu exclusively streamed the series in the USA, while fans from selected countries could watch the series on Disney+. Additionally, Netflix, Ani-One Asia's YouTube channel, JioCinema, and other platforms enabled fans from selected regions to enjoy the series.

Masakazu Morita stars as Ichigo Kurosaki, while Noriyaki Sugiyama voices Uryu Ishida. Takayuki Sugou voices Yhwach, while Yuichiro Umehara plays the role of Jugram Haschwalth. Other voice actors include Kentaro Ito as Renji Abarai, Show Hayami as Sosuke Aizen, Akio Ootsuka as Shunsui Kyoraku, and others.

Hikaru Murata directed the third installment at Pierrot Films, while Tomohisa Taguchi worked as the general manager and the series composer with Masaki Hiramatsu. Masashi Kudo designed the characters, while Shiro Sagisu composed the series' music. It remains to be seen whether the same staff returns in Bleach: Thousand-year Blood War Part 4.

Since the latest installment covered the manga up to the half of chapter 661 with some readjustments to the events, Bleach: Thousand-year Blood War part 4 will likely cover the remainder of chapter 661 and begin the adaptation from chapter 662 onwards.

In other words, the next installment will showcase the Soul Reapers' battle against Askin Nakk le Vaar and Gerald Valkyrie. Kisuke Urahara will play a massive role against Askin, while Kenpachi Zaraki and Toshiro Hitsugaya will get their moments to shine in the next cour against Gerald.

Additionally, the cour will showcase Ichigo Kurosaki's new move against Yhwach at the castle, where he will fuse his Soul Reaper and Hollow powers to acquire a new Hollowfication form. Moreover, with only 25 chapters remaining for adaptation, Bleach: Thousand-year Blood War part 4 will include plenty of original content.
