On July 13, 2024, Aniplex released the character trailer for Rin Okumura for the upcoming Blue Exorcist season 4. Aniplex has been one of the producers of the series for its past three seasons and fans can expect it to again be one of its producers for the fourth sequel.
The anime is adapted from a manga series written and illustrated by Kazue Katou. The first season aired in April 2011, followed by a second sequel which aired in January 2017, and the latest one in January 2024. The series changed its animation studio from A-1 Pictures to Studio VOLN after season 2.

The character visual was centered around Rin Okumura's memories with his adoptive father, Shiro Fujimoto, who died at the hands of Satan, Rin's father. The trailer saw Rin getting stronger by meeting new allies and getting control over his powers.
The trailer also reached a point where Rin's friends were found injured and he had to let his powers take over. The trailer ended with the showcasing of release windows for both cours of this season.
Blue Exorcist season 4 is set to be released in two consecutive cours. The first cour is titled Beyond the Snow Saga and will be released in October 2024. The second cour is titled The Blue Night Saga and will be released in January 2025. The opening theme song of the first cour will be performed by Japanese composer and singer Reol, titled RE RESCUE.
Blue Exorcist is the anime adaptation of a manga series written and illustrated by a female Japanese manga artist, Kazue Katou. Blue Exorcist is her most influential work alongside Time Killers. She is also the character designer for the original anime series Godzilla Singular Point.

The anime is an action-supernatural series centered around the life of Rin Okumura who learns about his reality as the son of Satan, the King of Gehenna, from his foster father, Shirou Fujimoto. Soon after this, Shirou dies at the hands of Satan, forcing Rin to take revenge against his father.
So, for this reason, he needs to become an exorcist and master the art of exorcism. Therefore, he joins the True Cross Academy with his brother, Yukio Okumura. Unfortunately, with time, Rin's demonic powers are also awakening, making it hard for him to stay with his friends. Will he become an exorcist or will Rin be the one who could get exorcised by his friends?
