The official website of the Blue Lock anime unveiled the first official trailer for Blue Lock season 2 on Saturday, July 6, 2024. With that, the anime's promotional video gave fans a preview of Satoshi Hino's voice as Oliver Aiku. Oshi no Ko season 2 is set to premiere on Saturday, October 6, 2024.
The anime's first season ended with the Second Selection Arc and hinted at the upcoming match between Blue Lock Eleven and the U-20 Japan National Team. With such developments, the upcoming anime is bound to animate the Third Selection Arc and U-20 Arc.

The official sources of the Blue Lock anime unveiled the first official trailer for Blue Lock season 2 on Saturday, July 6, 2024. The promotional video began with a heartfelt speech by the General Director of the Blue Lock Project, Ego Jinpachi. He spoke to the 35 remaining strikers of the Blue Lock Project who survived the grueling second selection.
Through his speech, he wished to fuel the egos of the strikers to hype them up for the upcoming match against the U-20 Japan National Team.
This is because they needed to win the match at any cost because if they lost the match, the Blue Lock Project would be dissolved. However, if they win, they could change the entire scene of Japanese football and steal the regular spots to represent Japan in the national team.
As for protagonist Yoichi Isagi, he could be seen exuding his ego. Playing against the U-20 Japanese National Team was the perfect opportunity for him to test himself against the best players in the country and showcase his skill to the world.
