Thursday, October 17, 2024, saw Crunchyroll announce that it will begin streaming an English dub for Blue Lock season 2 starting on Friday, October 18, 2024. In addition, Crunchyroll also revealed the cast and staff for the second season’s English dub, which is officially titled BLUE LOCK vs. U-20 JAPAN. The English dub for Blue Lock season 2 features both returning and new cast members per the latest available information.
Notable returns for Blue Lock season 2’s English dub cast include Ricco Fajardo as protagonist Yoichi Isagi, Derrick Snow as Jinpachi Ego, and Bryson Baugus as Seishiro Nagi. The second season first premiered in Japan on Saturday, October 5, 2024, and is being streamed internationally every week by Crunchyroll with English subtitles.
Blue Lock season 2 English dub cast reveals returning and new cast members alike ahead of Friday premiere
The season 2 English dub is being directed by Jonathan Rigg, with Samantha Harek producing, and Clayton Browning adapting the English script. William Dewell and Andrew Tipps are credited as mixers on the project, with Jameson Outlaw listed as the engineer. The new and returning English dub cast for the second season, including those mentioned above, are:

Most of the returning cast are from the first season, while some also appeared in the -EPISODE NAGI- film which hit Japanese theaters on Friday, April 19, 2024. The film then began screening in North American theaters on Friday, June 28, 2024.
Crunchyroll recently announced that the film would also begin streaming on their platform in both original Japanese audio and an English dub. The film is available to stream on the platform as of this writing.
Shintaro Inokawa is the director of season 2 at 8bit Studios, with Yuji Haibara serving as the chief director. Taku Kishimoto is the series scriptwriter, with Kenji Tanabe in charge of character design. Tanabe is also a chief animation director alongside Sorato Shimizu and Tomoko Mori.
The first season premiered in Japan in October 2022 and ran for 24 episodes. The series is an adaptation of author Muneyuki Kaneshiro and illustrator Yusuke Nomura’s original manga series of the same name. The series has run in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine since August 2018 and has currently released 279 chapters as of this article’s writing.
