Blue Lock season 2 summary so far
Blue Lock season 2 commenced with the Final Selection Round, a final straining period where the cream of the crop from Project Blue Lock was selected to go against U-20 Japan. As expected, the best players from this project were the protagonist and everyone else who proved their worth before Ego Jinpachi, who would sit as the team's coach.
After a few days, the destined day arrived as the match between Team Blue Lock and the U-20 Team of Japan. Although the former team was nervous (due to this being their first match before an audience), Itoshi Rin's professional attitude calmed them down, and the match commenced.
U-20 Japan, having experience playing as professionals, dominated the match in the first two minutes but wasted some key chances created by Itoshi Sae. So, the player took matters into his own hands and scored an amazing goal from the corner post. As expected, the hopes were down the dump for the opposition team after this.
So, Itoshi Rin and Isagi Yoichi partnered to score a goal. As the whistle blew, the two took matters into their own hands as Rin tried to replicate Sae's shot. However, he failed as the ball landed at Nagi Seishiro's feet. Surrounded by defenders, Nagi improvised and scored a goal. Similarly, Rin also improvised and scored a goal, ending the first half with Team Blue Lock on a one-goal lead.
