The new trailer opened with a visual of the female protagonist of the series, Hitori Gotou, also referred to as Bocchi-chan. The trailer showed a sneak peek at the upcoming movie, where Kessoku Band, the band Bocchi-chan is a part of, gave their last performance, which was featured in the last episodes of the TV series.

The trailer also showed the other protagonists, Nijika and Ryou, and put a key emphasis on the bright Kita as she tried her best to play the guitar. The new trailer also previewed the theme song for the 2nd compilation movie titled If I Could Become a Constellation. The song is a new one that wasn't featured in the TV series and will be performed by the four voice actors of Kessoku Band.

The series is a comedy anime series centered around the talented guitarist Hitori Gotou, whose online persona, the guitar hero, is famous for her guitar-playing skills. Despite the popularity, on the inside, Hitori is just an introvert who finds it hard to interact with other people of her age.

This was why she created an online persona to showcase her skills instead of joining a band. One day, while Hitori was sitting in a park with her guitar, she was approached by Nijika Ijichi, a drummer of the band named Kessoku Band.

The guitarist of Nijika's band had just fled without any notice, so she was looking for someone to fill in her role. So, Hitori was forcibly taken in as the temporary guitarist of the Kessoku Band and had to perform in front of a bunch of people without any practice. The series follows the future of the talented guitarist whose only redemption could be her guitar.
