On Wednesday, September 18, 2024, the official website of the Naruto franchise released the second sneak peek preview for Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 14. The preview illustration depicts the arrival of the new Shinju as Jura names him "Ryu." With that, fans can expect to learn more about the new Shinju in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 14.
The previous chapter revealed Boruto's past with Kashin Koji. Koji had finally manifested his Shinjutsu derived from Shibai's remains. This ability allowed him to look at all possible futures. Using the same, Koji guided Boruto and trained him. The manga later saw Himawari healing Sarada and Konohamaru holding Boruto captive.

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 14 sneak peek previews the fifth Shinju's arrival
On September 18, the official website of the Naruto franchise unveiled the preview illustration for the upcoming Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 14. The manga is set to be released on Saturday, September 21, 2024, in Shueisha's V Jump's super-sized November edition.
In the previous chapter, Jura was about to kill Boruto. Just then, Mamushi poked his head out of Jura's body, informing him about Matsuri's return. During her investigation, she found out that Boruto had an accomplice. Given how formidable their enemies were, Jura decided to return to the Shinju hideout and help Hidari recover before his Thorn Soul Bulb got rotten.
Later in the manga, right after Hidari's body is recovered, Matsuri asks Jura permission to harvest another Thorn Soul Bulb. Right after, the four Shinju can be seen looking forward to the fifth Shinju's emergence. This is where the manga's second sneak peek preview seemingly picks up.
The new Shinju can be seen emerging from the black box as the remaining four Shinju observe him. Right as the new Shinju woke up, Jura spoke to him.
What Jura said as per Google Translate:
"Have you woken up? How are you feeling? Ryu"
The kanji's translation strongly suggests that the new Divine Tree's name is Ryu. Unfortunately, this does not confirm the real identity of the Shinju. The translation also suggested the name "grain." Hence, many fans believe that the name had something to do with "grains of sand," suggesting that the new Shinju was based on Gaara's son Shinki. But unfortunately, the manga has yet to confirm the same.
