Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 6 preview teases Sage Mode Mitsuki vs. Boruto

On Friday, January 12, 2024, the Naruto website released a preview for the upcoming Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 6. The preview illustration hints at Mitsuki in his Sage Mode confronting Boruto right after his return to the Hidden Leaf Village.

The previous chapter revealed Sasuke and Boruto's backstory, depicting how Sasuke got turned into a God Tree. Following that, the manga saw the sentient God Trees decide on their individual targets that they want to consume. The manga also hinted at people starting to doubt their memories. Right after, Boruto returned to the Hidden Leaf Village and reunited with Sarada and Sumire.

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 6 will be released worldwide on Friday, January 19, 2024.

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 6 preview hints at Mitsuki confronting Boruto right after his return to the Hidden Leaf Village. After Eida switched Kawaki and Boruto's places, Mitsuki believed that Kawaki was his "Sun" and not Boruto.

Thus, upon believing that Boruto killed the Seventh Hokage Naruto Uzumaki and his wife Hinata, and also threatened Kawaki's life, Mitsuki wanted to kill Boruto and oozed out bloodthirst for the same.

Hence, upon learning that Boruto had returned to the Hidden Leaf Village, Mitsuki may have decided to confront him and kill while he can. His determination is also evident from the fact that the preview image shows him to have activated his Sage Mode.

The rough English translations for the same reveal that Mitsuki was waiting for this moment. While Sarada pleaded with him to wait and listen to Boruto's story first, Mitsuki asked her to get out of his way as he was no longer able to control himself.

What Mitsuki said to Sarada (translated from Japanese):

"I don't know what he said to you, but get out of my way, Sarada... I am now... Unable to control myself."

Therefore, fans can expect Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 6 to feature the fight between the two former Team 7 members. However, considering how the previous chapter preview only showed an illustration from the chapter's beginning, it is to be assumed that the latest preview also hints at an event from the chapter's beginning. Thus, fans can expect many new developments in the new manga chapter.
