Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 12 is set to be released on Saturday, July 20, 2024. However, days before its official release, the manga chapter's spoilers and cover were leaked online. These leaks allowed fans to catch a glimpse of the manga's cover for chapter 12. Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 12 is set to feature Sumire Kakei.

The manga's previous chapter saw Himawari get engulfed in Kurama Chakra and heal Inojin. Right after, she began fighting God Tree Jura. Elsewhere, Hidari attacked Sarada and co to devour his target. Just as both Himawari and Sarada were about to be defeated, Boruto rescued both of them using his Flying Raijin Jutsu.

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 12 unveils Sumire's first cover in the sequel manga

With the spoilers for Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 12 starting to leak, the manga cover for the same has also been unveiled by leakers online. The chapter cover features Sumire Kakei. Despite Sumire appearing in the manga since the first chapter, this is her first chapter cover in the Boruto: Two Blue Vortex manga.

Surprisingly, the upcoming chapter will only be the second time the character features on a chapter cover for the manga series. The only other time Sumire appeared in the manga's chapter cover was in chapter 56 of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations manga.

While fans had gotten a good look at Sumire Kakei's full character design in the first chapter itself, the manga had yet to confirm the character's color palette.

That said, unlike the case with the God Trees where fans had no clue about their color palettes, fans had an idea of Sumire's colors due to the prequel manga. Sumire's colors mainly dealt with purple. Nevertheless, most fans ended up interpreting her colors inaccurately.

Sumire Kakei's shirt is seemingly white with a tint of purple, and her dress over it is dark purple. Her tie's stripes, unlike what most fans had interpreted, didn't feature purple but were green and blue. Lastly, the entire outfit is brought together by her long black shinobi boots and grey bracelets.

As for the text on the cover page, it has something to do with flowers. Even the manga chapter's title seemingly follows the same theme as it has something to do with "Thorn" and "Souls."
