On September 28, 2024, a special PV for Boruto: Two Blue Vortex was released on the official Naruto website. The PV showcased the protagonist's growth from a spoiled child, who hated his father for not paying attention to him, to the savior ninja who, despite being betrayed by his village due to Omnipotence, returned to save his loved ones.

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex is a manga series written by Masashi Kishimoto and illustrated by Mikio Ikemoto. The manga started after the conclusion of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations in August 2023, and is set to release volume 1 (English) on February 4, 2025, with its first three volumes already released in Japanese.

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex's new PV release showcases the growth of the protagonist

The promotional video commenced with a visual of Boruto Uzumaki from the early days of the series, when he awakened his Karma after defeating Momoshiki. The clip then introduced Kawaki and instantly shifted to Eida, followed by the Omnipotence Act, after which he was pushed out of the village.

It then showed the sequel series, with the protagonist returning to the Hidden Leaf Village. The video also showcased the fight between Kawaki and Boruto, where the former was ridiculed by the latter due to the difference in their strengths. The clip showed a visual from Naruto's early days to his becoming the Hokage, along with Boruto, from a spoiled child to his current persona.

The second part of the video showed the battle between Boruto and Mitsuki, followed by Sarada versus Hidari, showing every Shinju in the series. The video ended with the cover image of the series' first volume.


Reaction from the fandom

The fandom was in awe over Boruto getting showcased in the latest PV of the sequel series, taking this chance to appreciate the manga once again. Fans further admitted that a person gets addicted to the series once they start reading it. Moreover, the fandom wanted to see Himawari in the video, as she became the talk of the town after becoming the new Jinchuriki of the Nine-tails, after Naruto.

"The video is so good. Can't belive it's been 1 year already. Every ch is epic," a fan said.
"This is seriously so interesting that once you read it you'll be hooked!" another fan claimed.
"L not showing Hima, also known as best girl," a fan commented.
"This is beautiful man. What a manga we are witnessing. This is Greatness in real time," another one stated.

Final thoughts

It has been more than a year since the Boruto sequel series started, and since then, it has received a good reception from all around the fandom, indicating that it could be a redemption series for its prequel. Moreover, with the way the current events are going, Two Blue Vortex might also become the face of Shounen in the upcoming years, as many big names of Shounen Jump are concluding.
