Latest Boruto: Two Blue Vortex manga unveils the Shinjus in color
Shueisha's V Jump super-sized August edition magazine is supposed to be released on Friday, June 21, 2024, in Japan. This issue is set to feature Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 11. However, nearly a week before the magazine issue was released, the cover art for the same got leaked online.
Evidently, the latest magazine cover art features Boruto fighting the four Shinjus, namely Jura, Hidari, Matsuri, and the unnamed Shinju based on Bug. This was surprising as the upcoming chapter isn't supposed to cover these events.
In fact, the event depicted in the magazine cover already took place in the manga's fourth chapter. That said, there is still a chance the cover art is depicting a fight that will soon take place in the future. If that were the case, fans could witness a rematch of Boruto vs. the Shinjus. Hopefully, this time, he will have some backup from the Shinobi in the Hidden Leaf Village like Sarada and Mitsuki.
The good thing is that the magazine cover allows fans to catch a glimpse at the character designs and colors of all four Shinjus. Before the colored illustration of Jura was unveiled as part of the cover art in chapter 8, fans believed that all Shinjus had a black and red color palette. However, that wasn't the case as Jura had a black and turquoise color palette.
Surprisingly, the other Shunjus did not have the same color palette. While the primary color black remained constant, the secondary color was unique for all Shinjus. Hidari's secondary color is yellow, Himari's secondary color is purple, and the unnamed Shinju's secondary color is blue.
With that, the magazine cover for Shueisha's V Jump super-sized August edition allowed fans to see all Shinjus in color for the first time.
