On Thursday, November 21, 2024, the 2024 Disney APAC Content Showcase saw Disney unveil an early teaser video and visual for Director Sung Hoo Park's Bullet/Bullet anime. The anime will be available to stream exclusively on Disney+ in Summer 2025.
As anime fans know, Sung Hoo Park has been the director of popular anime like Jujutsu Kaisen, Ninja Kamui, and The God of High School. He spent a decade drafting the story for the new original anime. The anime will be produced by E&H production and GAGA.
Disney unveils teaser visual and video for Bullet/Bullet anime
On Thursday, November 21, 2024, Disney unveiled a teaser visual and video for Sung Hoo Park's original anime Bullet/Bullet at the 2024 Disney APAC Content Showcase. The anime will be available to stream exclusively on Disney+ in Summer 2025.
The teaser visual, drawn jointly by Takahiro Yoshimatsu and Hidetaka Tenjin, depicts an old classic car speeding through the sandy wilderness. A boy is seen behind the wheel, while a polar bear and a robot are leaning out of the back seat.
As for the teaser video, it gave fans a glimpse of the anime's characters. The video also showcases some high-octane speeding car action through the rubble of the city, a truck that bursts into flames, and some parkour action. Fans can expect the anime to feature some flashy car action and a heavy story.
Bullet/Bullet anime announces staff members
While the Bullet/Bullet anime has yet to reveal its cast members, it has revealed some of its primary staff members. As aforementioned, the anime will be directed by Sung Hoo Park, director of Jujutsu Kaisen, Ninja Kamui, and The God of High School. He drafted the story for the series over a decade.
Aki Kidaichi is composing and writing the script for the anime. He is currently also responsible for the series composition of Uma Musume: Cinderella Gray. Kindaichi is joined by Takahiro Yoshimatsu, who will be serving as Character Designer and Chief Animation Director. He has previously worked in Hunter X Hunter and Overlord.
They will be joined by Hidetaka Tenjin, who will serve as Concept Designer and Mechanical Designer for the anime. He previously served as a prolific illustrator and mechanical designer for Macross and Space Battleship Yamato. Lastly, Shin Misawa will join the anime as Car Action Director. He previously directed Capeta and Initial D.
