Bye Bye, Earth season 2 has been confirmed, coupled with the release of a promotional video
Right after the release of the tenth and final episode of the season, it was confirmed that Bye Bye, Earth season 2 is a reality, which was coupled with a promotional video of this Liden Films production. While the trailer was only twenty seconds long, it deserved to confirm the fans' desire for a second season while also building some hype.
As of this writing, there is no information on a specific release date for Bye Bye, Earth season 2 or how much is it going to take from the light novels, written by Tow Ubukata. The first season of the anime ran from July to September of this year and had a total of ten episodes, while it was also broadcast by WOWOW for Japanese audiences and Crunchyroll for the rest of the world.
The premise of the series
This story focused on a girl named Belle Lablac, who built herself a great reputation for having the physical strength to lift a giant sword called Runding and being able to use tremendous fighting skills. However, she is the only person she knows who is 100% human while everyone else has animal-like features, isolating her from the rest of the world.
The bulk of the series is Belle going through a lot of adventures to find more people like her but also to understand why she is so different from the rest. It is expected that Bye Bye, Earth season 2 is going to double down on that and other key tropes of the series.
