Notably, the voice actors of Tsuyoshi Mukoda (Yuma Uchida) and Fel (Satoshi Hino) graced the event with their presence. The official X account for the series has shared an image of the voice actors, holding a plushy of Sui.
The picture all but confirms that the previous voice actors will return for Campfire Cooking in Another World season 2. However, this is only speculation thus far since the official staff hasn't confirmed it.
The previous installment premiered in Japan on January 10, 2023, on Amazon Prime Video and Hikari TV. Crunchyroll streamed the episodes as they aired in Japan. Muse Asia streamed the series in several Asian regions, including India.
Satoshi Hino starred as Fel, while Yuma Uchida voiced Tsuyoshi Mukoda. Hina Kino lent her voice to Sui, while Maaya Uchida played Ninlil's role. Kiyoshi Matsuda, who directed Kakegurui season 2, Re-Main, and other series, was in charge of the previous season's direction at MAPPA studio. Michiko Yokote supervised the series scripts, while Nao Otsu adapted the original character designs for animation purposes.
Kuricorder Quartet, Masato Koda, and Kana Utatane composed the music for the series. It remains to be seen whether the same staff returns for Campfire Cooking in Another World season 2.
About the anime
Based on Ren Eguchi's light novels, the fantasy anime centers around Tsuyoshi Mukoda, a salary man, who is accidentally summoned to another world to fight against the Kingdom's enemies. However, he is endowed with a non-combat skill, called Online Supermarket, which is regarded useless.
Yet, the power becomes a huge boon to Mukoda, who manages to cheaply buy food items and utensils from Japan, which are all considered luxurious in the new world. As Mukoda cooks delicious food, he catches the eye of a legendary wolf, Fel. The beast becomes Mukoda's Familiar and accompanies the "chef" on his journeys.
