Studio Passione will adapt Chained Soldier season 2
The Chained Soldier anime has announced a studio change for season 2, with Studio Passione taking over for the second season as revealed during Anime Expo 2024. Studio Seven Arcs worked on the first season. Many fans believe Studio Seven Arcs did a really good job at adapting the Chained Soldier season 1, hence the studio change to Studio Passione has had a rather divided reaction.
Although Studio Passione has previously worked on animes like Mieruko-chan as well as the recent remake of Spice and Wolf, few fans have expressed how their animation style is too bubbly and might not be a good fit for Chained Soldier.
The anime will have a special event on July 20, attended by the major cast members, including Yuya Hirose as Yuki) Akari Kito as Kyoka, Yume Miyamoto as Himari.
