An anime adaptation of Coco Uzuki's Fall in Love, You False Angels manga is allegedly green-lit for production

Prominent animanga news leaker, Sugoi LITE (@SugoiLITE) posted a tweet on Wednesday, December 25, 2024, at 11:57 pm IST, to reveal that Fall in Love, You False Angels anime, based on Coco Uzuki's eponymous shoujo manga, is in the works.

However, no details regarding the anime's studio, release date, or cast and staff were disclosed. Although the official staff hasn't shared any news regarding the manga's anime adaptation, the leaker said the announcement will be made in time.

Notably, this is not the first time the user has leaked anime-manga-related news ahead of their official announcement. On previous occasions, the leaker correctly predicted the news of the Ranma 1/2 remake, Lookism anime adaptation, Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint anime, and others.

Kodansha released the first volume on September 13, 2023, in Japan. Following that, the second volume was released on February 13, 2024, while the third volume came out on July 11, 2024. The latest volume was released on December 13, 2024. Kodansha USA has published two volumes of the manga in English.

Coco Uzuki's Fall in Love, You False Angels manga follows the story of Otogi Katsura, the first-years' class president, who has become extremely popular because of her angelic demeanor and adorable looks. Overwhelmed by Otogi's graceful presence, her admirers give her the moniker of Heartthrob Angel.

However, beneath the angelic exterior lies a facet she accidentally reveals to Toki Ninomae, the vice president of her class. Interestingly, Toki happens to be Otogi's recent interest. Yet, she doesn't know that the boy has a hidden side to him as well.
