On Thursday, July 4, 2024, Crunchyroll informed Sportskeeda via email correspondence about the additional anime that are set to be part of the Summer 2024 lineup for India. The streaming platform announced seven new anime that will be available to stream on the service.
Following numerous anime screenings, it has become evident that Crunchyroll has been trying to expand its market in India. In addition, the streaming platform has also been providing regional language dubs for the anime in hopes of giving the audience in India a unique experience while watching them.
Crunchyroll announces 7 new Summer 2024 anime for India
On Thursday, July 4, 2024, Crunchyroll announced seven new anime that will be part of the streaming platform's Summer 2024 anime lineup in India. Out of the seven anime, two are also set to receive regional language dubs.
While more anime titles could be announced later, here are the seven anime the streaming platform added to their previously announced Summer 2024 lineup:
- July 4 - Red Cat Ramen (E&H production)
- July 5 - Dahlia in Bloom: Crafting a Fresh Start with Magical Tools (Typhoon Graphics and Imagica Infos)
- July 6 - The Elusive Samurai (CloverWorks) - Hindi Dub
- July 6 - SHOSHIMIN: How to Become Ordinary (Lapin Track)
- July 6 - MONOGATARI Series: OFF & MONSTER Season (SHAFT)
- July 9 - The Magical Girl and the Evil Lieutenant Used to Be Archenemies (BONES)
- August 7 - True Beauty (BONES) - English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu Dubs
As evident from the above list of new anime, out of the seven anime, The Elusive Samurai and True Beauty are set to have regional language dubs.
The Elusive Samurai will only receive the Hindi dub while True Beauty will receive English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu language dubs. Hopefully, the streaming platform will soon announce regional language dubs for more anime in the future.
That said, fans must note that the release dates mentioned beside each title on the list are only for the English-subtitled version. The actual release date for the dubbed versions of the anime will be unveiled later through Crunchyroll's news portal or social media accounts. Hence, fans should keep an eye on the same.
With that, Crunchyroll is set to premiere 31 new anime as part of the Summer 2024 anime lineup.
