On Thursday, July 18, 2024, Crunchyroll informed Sportskeeda of the release dates for regional language dubs for anime via email correspondence. The streaming platform had previously unveiled the Summer 2024 anime that would receive regional language dubs. Hence, with their latest news update, the streaming platform unveiled the release dates for the same.
Additionally, Crunchyroll also added regional language dubs for several other anime that were already part of the streaming platform's catalogue. In doing so, the streaming platform further expanded its dubbed anime catalogue. In total, the streaming platform announced the release dates for the regional language dubs for 20 anime.
Crunchyroll announces premiere dates for Summer 2024 anime regional language dubs
As previously announced, Crunchyroll is set to release regional language dubs for many anime. However, at the time, the release dates for the same weren't decided. Hence, with the streaming platform's latest announcement, they unveiled the regional language dub release dates for the previously announced anime and new anime.
Here is the list of Summer 2024 anime that are set to receive regional language dubs and the release dates for the same:
Out of the 14 Summer 2024 anime that are listed above, six of them are only set to have a Hindi dub option. Meanwhile, the other eight anime are set to receive Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu language dubs. Surprisingly, out of those eight anime, only three will have English dub as well.
Crunchyroll announces regional language dubs for previously aired anime
Surprisingly, the streaming platform isn't stopping just at the Summer 2024 anime season, as six previously aired anime will also be receiving regional language dubs.
Out of the six anime, four are set to have Tamil and Telugu dubs. The release dates for the same are as follows:
- Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead - July 18
- Tomo-chan Is a Girl! - July 18
- The Daily Life of the Immortal King Season 2 - July 23
- The Apothecary Diaries - July 23
The other two anime are only set to release their Telugu language dub. The release dates for the same are as follows:
- Shangri-La Frontier - August 6
- Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End - August 13
Hopefully, the streaming platform will soon announce regional language dubs for other anime within Crunchyroll's catalogue.
