On Wednesday, November 6, 2024, Crunchyroll informed Sportskeeda Anime via email correspondence about the launch of the dubbed versions of Dragon Ball Daima in India this November. The anime will receive Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu language dubs weekly from Saturday, November 9, 2024.

Dragon Ball Daima is an original anime produced to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the late Akira Toriyama's Dragon Ball manga. The series was first launched in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in 1984 and has since sold an astounding 260 million copies worldwide.

As previously mentioned, Crunchyroll announced the early launch of the dubbed versions of Dragon Ball Daima anime in India on November 9, 2024. This much-anticipated release brings the iconic series to Indian audiences in their preferred languages, namely Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.

This move will make India the first region to receive localized dubs for the Fall 2024 anime. The company will soon make exciting announcements for other territories as well.

So, starting from November 9, 2024, Indian fans can enjoy the new regional language dubs for the anime weekly. The release in India underscores Crunchyroll’s commitment to providing an exceptional experience to anime fans by offering localized content for its diverse global audience.

The anime premiered worldwide on Friday, October 11, 2024, on Crunchyroll.

What is Dragon Ball Daima anime about?

Dragon Ball Daima is an original anime story that takes place nearly a year after the events surrounding Majin Buu. Following the death of the former King of the Demon Realm Dabura, Gomah was made the new King. However, he wasn't just satisfied with the new position but also wanted to secure it.

Hence, King Gomah and his attendant Degesu conspired against Goku and his friends, the ones who defeated Majin Buu. Upon not being able to use the Demon Realm Dragon Balls due to the Tamagamis protecting it, the two arrived on Earth to use their Dragon Balls.

This development saw King Gomah asking Shenron to turn Goku and his friends small. Soon after, they kidnapped Dende and returned to the Demon Realm. Hence, Goku and Supreme Kai went after them alongside their new friends Glorio and Panzy to get back Dende and return themselves to their original forms.
