On Tuesday, October 22, 2024, Crunchyroll informed Sportskeeda Anime about the acquisition and theatrical release date for Solo Leveling -ReAwakening- fan omnibus film in India. Solo Leveling -ReAwakening- will be released on Friday, December 6, 2024, in Indian theaters.

Solo Leveling, originally written by Chugong, is a Korean web novel, which was later given a webtoon and manhwa adaptation by DUBU. The first season was released in January 2024, with the second season set to be released in January 2025. A-1 Pictures is the studio behind the anime adaptation.

Crunchyroll announced on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, that they acquired the Indian theatrical rights for Solo Leveling -ReAwakening- movie. Solo Leveling -ReAwakening- will be released on Friday, December 6, 2024, in Indian theaters.

Following the anime's first season, the animation studio A-1 Pictures is preparing for the series' second season. But before that, the studio is set to release a movie.

This movie is set to feature the catch-up recap of the anime's first season coupled with an exclusive sneak peek of the first two episodes of the highly anticipated second season in one momentous theatrical fan experience.

With this movie, fans will be left prepared for the upcoming highly anticipated Solo Leveling season 2 anime. The anime will be released in January 2025 and will be part of Crunchyroll's Winter 2025 anime lineup.

What to expect from Solo Leveling -ReAwakening- movie?

As mentioned, the recap catch-up movie is first set to feature a recap of the anime's first season followed by a sneak peek of the first two episodes of the second season.

Considering that the first two episodes of the second season should be about 45 minutes long, the recap part for the first season may not have a lot of time. The anime's first season had 12 episodes, hence, its recap would see many parts of it be omitted. However, fans can expect A-1 Pictures to work around it and feature the most important parts from the first season.

Hence, the recap portion of the movie could likely include the D-Rank Dungeon Arc, Reawakening Arc, Instant Dungeon Arc, parts from Yoo Jinho Raid Party Arc, Job Change Arc, and most importantly, the Red Gate Arc. That said, this is just speculation based on the anime's plot and its importance in the story ahead.
