On Thursday, November 21, 2024, Crunchyroll informed Sportskeeda Anime via email correspondence that Indian actor Rana Daggubati will be voicing the enigmatic Ice Elf Barca in Solo Leveling season 2. Rana Daggubati will voice the role in three languages - Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
With Solo Leveling season 2 set to premiere in January 2025, the anime is soon set to release Solo Leveling -ReAwakening-, a fan omnibus film in theaters worldwide. The anime movie will be available to watch in Hindi, English, and Japanese and combines a recap of the series' first season with an exclusive sneak peek of the first two episodes of the highly anticipated second season.
Rana Daggubati set to voice Barca in Solo Leveling season 2
On Thursday, November 21, 2024, Crunchyroll announced that celebrated Indian actor Rana Daggubati, known for his performances in Baahubali and Ghazi, will voice the powerful and enigmatic Ice Elf Barca in Solo Leveling season 2.
The actor is set to voice the character in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. To add to the excitement, Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment are also set to bring Solo Leveling -ReAwakening- fan omnibus film to theaters in India on Friday, December 6, 2024. The movie will see fans experience an exclusive sneak peek of Rana Daggubati's Hindi performance as Barca.
As explained by the anime, Barca is a powerful Ice Elf and the boss of the Red Gate Dungeon. His encounter with the protagonist, Sung Jin-Woo, promises a thrilling clash as Barca’s sword mastery, speed, and stealth test will test the hunter's evolving power, adding new layers to the story of Solo Leveling.
"Voicing Barca in Solo Leveling across three languages has been an exciting challenge that I truly enjoyed," said Rana Daggubati.
