On July 4, 2024, it was announced that the Beyblade X anime series will be broadcast on Disney XD in the United States starting July 13. The news was revealed by two licensing companies, T-licensing Inc. and ADK Emotions New York Inc.
The anime series started airing in October 2023, animated by Studio OLM. In the past, Disney XD also aired two seasons of the Beyblade Burst in 2023, which means the new Beyblade X series is airing on the demand of the masses. A game for the series will also be released at the end of 2024, titled Beyblade X: XONE.
Beyblade X anime to premiere airing in the US on July 13
The Beyblade X anime is set to premiere in the United States on the streaming platform Disney XD. It was also announced that the anime series would air in Canada and Australia in the same month on streaming services like Disney XD Canada, Cartoon Network Canada, and other related streaming sites.
The anime series is adapted from a manga series of the same name, written by Homura Kawamoto and illustrated by Posuka Demizu and Hikaru Muno. The author of this manga series is famous for his influential works like Kakegurui. Posuka Demizu is also known for her role as the illustrator in The Promised Neverland.
The anime series has released 39 episodes so far as of this article's publication in Japan. The animation is being helmed by studio OLM. Studio OLM is one of the oldest anime studios in Japan, and some of its popular works include The Apothecary Diaries (alongside TOHO animation studio), Don't Tease Me Nagatoro, and Komi Can't Communicate.
The voice casting in the series includes X Kurosu, voiced by Souma Saito (Hyouma Chigiri from Blue Lock), Multi Nanairo, voiced by Ruriko Noguchi (Sally from BOFURI), and Bird Kazami, voiced by Shuuichirou Umeda (Akira Tendou from Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead).
Beyblade X anime synopsis
Beyblade X anime is an adventure series centered around the protagonist, Robin Kazami (aka Bird Kazami). After a humiliating defeat in a Beyblade match in Tower X, Kazami is thrown out of his team because he was the only amateur there. Kazami looks for a new team to join, looking for a chance to regain his pride.
Fortunately, he gets a chance to join the team of former Beyblade champion Jaxon Cross (aka X Cross). Together, these two look for a third teammate, the talented Multi Nanairo, and embark on a journey to reach the top of Tower X one day.
