On Thursday, November 14, 2024, the official website and X (formerly Twitter) account for Dr. Stone Season 4 unveiled a new teaser promotional video and the main visual. Additionally, the staff has announced two new cast members for the season finale. The anime is set to premiere in January 2025 and will air for three parts or cours with breaks in between.
Under the production of TMS Entertainment, Dr. Stone Season 4 serves as a finale and picks up the story from Season 3, which was released in two installments. The first cour telecasted 11 episodes from April 2023 to June 2023, while the second part released the same number of episodes from October 2023 to December 2023.
The anime adapts author Riichiro Inagaki and illustrator Boichi's eponymous post-apocalyptic science fiction manga series.
Dr. Stone Season 4's new trailer reveals Koji Yusa and Kenji Nojima as new cast members
As mentioned earlier, the official staff for Dr. Stone Season 4 unveiled the main visual and a new teaser promotional video on Thursday, November 14, 2024, ahead of the show's January 2025 release. It was earlier revealed that the anime would premiere on Tokyo MX and other affiliated networks in Japan. Crunchyroll will stream the anime in the USA, Africa, Europe, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS.
The latest promotional video features Senku and his friends heading to the American continent. However, they face Dr. Xeno and Stanely Snyder, who use the power of science to pose a stiff challenge to them. The short video retains the previous installment's art quality and the production looks pristine.
Most importantly, the short clip previews the character voices of Dr. Xeno and Stanely Snyder. According to the teaser PV, Kenji Nojima voices Dr. Xeno, a dark scientist, while Koji Yusa stars as Stanely Snyder, one of the proficient snipers who sides with Xeno.
Comments from the new cast members have been shared on the anime's official website. Talking about his experience playing Xeno, Kenji Nojima says he's delighted to be playing a "cool villain."
The voice actor feels the audience will be curious to see how Xeno's character will relate to the main protagonist, Senku. Likewise, Koji Yusa feels Stanely is a capable character and feels a lot of pressure. That said, Yusa-san asks fans to look forward to his performance as Stanely Snyder.
Additionally, the anime's staff revealed that Dr. Stone Season 4 will have a premiere screening at the Comic-Con Experience (CCXP), which will be held in Sao Paulo, Brazil, from December 5, 2024, to December 8, 2024. Moreover, the finale will hold an advance screening on December 28, 2024, at TOHO Cinemas Hibiya in Tokyo, Japan, where the anime's cast members will grace the stage.

Dr. Stone Season 4 stars Yusuke Kobayashi as Senku Ishigami, Gen Sato as Chrome, Kengo Kawanishi as Gen Asagiri, Ryota Suzumi as Ryusui Nanami, Kensho Ono as Ukyo Saionji, Makoto Furukawa as Taiju, Manami Numakura as Kohaku, Karin Takahashi as Suika, and others.
Shuhei Matsushita directs the science fiction anime at TMS Entertainment, with Kurasumi Sunayama as the series composer. Yuko Iwasa is credited as the character designer, with Shunchiro Yoshihara as the art director. Hiroaki Tsutsumi, Yuki Kanesaka, and Tatsuya Kato are in charge of music composition.
Picking up the events from the previous installment, Dr. Stone Season 4 will show Senku and his friends heading to the American continent in search of corn, the raw material required for the revival liquid, to save humanity. However, they will have to confront adversaries on their way.
