Dragon Ball Daima introduces fans to three new characters
On Friday, July 19, 2024, the official website of Dragon Ball unveiled the main key visual and new trailer for Dragon Ball Daima anime.
The newly unveiled key visual centers on Goku (mini) and Supreme Kai (mini) as they could be seen riding a blue dragon while on an adventure. Joining them in the key visual are two new characters that will appear in Dragon Ball Daima for the first time. The one who is piloting the plane is Glorio, and the other character is called Masked Majin.
Behind them, the main visual features three mysterious worlds which could be the terrains where the anime takes place at.
As for the trailer, it gives fans hints on what is set to happen. Evidently, after Goku and his friends get turned mini, the new character Glorio is set to meet with them at The Lookout. This could be where Glorio informs Goku and others about the villain, following which Goku and Supreme Kai join the new character in search of the antagonist.
Right after, the trailer shows Goku and company transversing through various planets and having numerous battles. Additionally, the trailer also gives fans a glimpse of the other two new characters Masked Majin and Gomah. While Masked Majin seems friendly, Gomah's actions in the trailer suggest that he is either the antagonist or aligned with the same.
Lastly, the anime also gave fans a look at the character designs for the upcoming anime. While fans can easily identify Goku, Supreme Kai, Vegeta, and Piccolo even in their mini form, that is not the case for the new characters.
The character that is first from the left is Gomah. While not a lot has been revealed about the character, the trailer shows him watching Goku and company with an intense gaze from a strange location. As for his design, it seems inspired by Universe 11 characters. Gomah's face resembles a clown like Belmod and his outfit resembles the Pride Troopers uniform.
The next character is called Masked Majin. The anime hasn't revealed a lot about the character but he could be aligned with Goku and company during the mission. The final new character is Glorio. At first glance, he resembles Mira, the antagonist from Dragon Ball Xenoverse. Nevertheless, Glorio seems to be aligned with Goku. Hopefully, fans will soon get more information on these characters.
