Michio Fukuda is at the helm of affairs at Seven Arcs, with Yasuhiro Nakanishi in charge of the scripts. Tatsuhiko Saiki is enlisted as the music composer, while Kana Hashidate has joined the staff as the character designer and the chief animation director.

Based on Kaoru Shinozaki's light novel series, Failure Frame anime centers on Toka Mimori and his classmates, who are summoned to a fantasy world by the goddess to serve as heroes. Although most students showcase impressive skills, Mimori turns out the worst of the lot, with only an E-rank to his name.

When the goddess throws him into a dangerous dungeon to die, the boy discovers that his skills aren't worthless, but rather incredibly powerful. As such, fans can expect the anime to follow a familiar Isekai trope, where the protagonist displays his skills to course his way to victory.
