On Saturday, July 6, 2024, Crunchyroll announced at Anime Expo 2024 that Fire Force Season 3 will be the final season of the franchise, and it will be broadcast in split cours. The first part will premiere in April 2025 (Spring 2025), while the second cour will be released in January 2026 (Winter 2026)
Crunchyroll has also unveiled a promotional video and teaser visual for Fire Force Season 3 at the event and announced that it will stream the series outside Japan. Notably, the title serves as a sequel to the previous installment, which aired 24 episodes from July 2020 to December 2020. The anime is an adaptation of Atsushi Ohkuno's eponymous manga series.
Fire Force Season 3 premieres in April 2025 with the first cour
Fire Force Season 3 is set to release in April 2025, as confirmed by Crunchyroll at Anime Expo 2024, on Saturday, July 6, 2024. According to the announcement, the sequel will be split into two cours, with the first part releasing in April 2025, and the second one in January 2026, i.e., in Winter 2026.
The official website and X (formerly Twitter) account for the anime have also streamed the promotional video for Fire Force Season 3, which begins with the visuals from the manga, and then transitions to the new scenes from the upcoming installment.
The short clip showcases the exploits of the protagonist, Shinra Kusakabe, and the other members of the Special Fire Force Company 8. Besides them, the PV highlights the Evangelists. While the trailer doesn't reveal the theme songs for Season 3, it uses Aimer's opening theme for Season 3, SPARK-AGAIN.

Aside from the PV, the official staff has unveiled a teaser visual for Fire Force Season 3. The illustration depicts the main character, Shinra Kusakabe, heading to the final battle. Shinra appears clad in the special Fire Force costume, surrounded by fire. Undoubtedly, the visual sets the mood and tone for Season 3.
David Production will be in charge of the production of Season 3. However, the anime's official team hasn't announced the names of the main staff members yet. The previous cast members are likely to reprise their roles.

Crunchyroll has also announced that it will stream the sequel in North America, Central America, South America, the Middle East, CIS, Europe, Africa, and Oceania. The company has also given a short synopsis for Season 3.
Fire Force Season 3 will show Shinra Kusakabe using his devil's footprints to help everyone in Tokyo from spontaneous human combustion. With Tokyo burning, he will rise to prevent the city from turning into ash.
Yet first, he has to face his past and the secret behind human combustion. The final season will see the familiar characters at the endgame, challenging unimaginable foes.
