On Friday, December 6, 2024, the official staff unveiled the first promotional video and key visual for Fire Force season 3, which happens to be the series' final season. The sequel will be divided into two parts, with the first part slated to be released in April 2025 and the second one scheduled to air in January 2026.

The short clip highlights the beloved characters' return and confirms the show's returning main staff and other members. Produced by David Production, Fire Force season 3 is a sequel to the previous installment, which released 24 episodes from July 2020 to December 2020. The series itself is an adaptation of Atsushi Okuno's manga series of the same name.

On Friday, December 6, 2024, the official website for the series shared the first promotional video for Fire Force season 3. According to the short clip, the anime is set to premiere on the Animeism slot of MBS, TBS, and BS-TBS in April 2025, with the first cour.

The second part will begin its broadcast from January 2026. As previously revealed, Crunchyroll will stream the final season in North America, South America, Central America, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Oceania, and CIS.

The latest Fire Force season 3 trailer features the beloved cast, including Shinra, Tamaki, Arthur, Akitaru, and the other members of the Special Fire Force Company 8. Besides them, the trailer highlights the Evangelist faction, Joker, and other important characters who will appear in the final season. Besides, the PV subtly teases a major event from the manga.

Additionally, the staff has unveiled a new key visual. The latest visual depicts the protagonist, Shinra Kusakabe, and the Special Fire Force Company 8 members heading to the final frontier. The characters are seen wearing their special suits.

Tatsuma Minamikawa directs the battle shonen series at David Production, with Mariko Kubo, Yumenosuke Tokuda, and Yoshihiro Yoshioka credited as chief animation directors. Sei Tsugata is handling the supervision and writing of the series scripts.

Mika Yamamoto is credited as the sub-character designer, with Yumi Horikoshi as the new art director. Koji Kodera has joined the staff as the new CG director, while Ryo Ohashi is the VFX supervisor. Ryo-san was earlier credited for the show's 3D, CG, Photography, and VFX work.

Natsuki Takei contributes to the final season as the compositing director of photography. The anime features a returning cast, with Gakuto Kajiwara as Shinra, Yuusuke Kobayashi as Arthur, Aoi Yuki as Tamaki Kotatsu, and others.

Fire Force season 3's production was announced on the anime's official site in May 2022. The finale will depict Shinra Kusakabe using his Devil footprints to aid his close ones in Tokyo from spontaneous human combustion. The sequel will show Shinra confronting shocking facts about the phenomenon, which will turn the world upside down.
