Go! Go! Loser Ranger! season 2 has been announced for 2025 by the anime's official staff following the release of the anime's 12th and final episode on Sunday, June 30, 2024. The official X handle of the anime has also shared an announcement PV and a message from the mangaka, Negi Haruba.

Produced by Yostar Pictures, Go! Go! Loser Ranger! season 2 will pick up the events from the latest season, which ran from April 7, 2024, to June 30, 2024. The anime itself is an adaptation of the eponymous Japanese manga series, written and illustrated by Negi Haruba. The series serves as a satire of the superhero trope.


Go! Go! Loser Ranger! season 2 to premiere in 2025

Fighter D's Story will continue in Go! Go! Loser Ranger! season 2, as confirmed by the anime's official X (formerly Twitter) account and website on Sunday, June 30, 2024. The staff unveiled a promotional video to announce that the sequel will be released in 2025.

Besides the website and X account, the latest episode's ending confirmed that the anime will return with season 2 in 2025. Notably, the announcement video reflects on the first season's key moments and hypes up the sequel.

The staff has further shared an illustration from the show's director, Sato Keiichi, who has thanked the viewers for watching the anime and showing their support. The visual features Fighter D and the Red Keeper.

Additionally, a celebratory visual for the Go! Go! Loser Ranger! season 2 has been shared by the original mangaka, Negi Haruba, on his official X account, @negi_haruba. The illustration depicts Kanon Hisui, an integral character from the anime.

Aside from season 2's announcement, the official staff revealed that episodes 9-12 from the recently concluded season will be free on Full Anime TV from 6 PM IST, starting June 30, 2024.

The cast members from the first season will likely reprise their roles in season 2. Yusuke Kobayashi stars as Fighter D, while Yano Yumika plays Yumeko Suzukiri's role. Daishi Kajita plays Hibiki Sakurama, while Yuichi Nakamura voices Sosei Akabane, aka Red Keeper.

Azumi Waki features as Kanon Hisui, while Rika Nagae plays Komachi Aizome. Hina Youmiya stars as Fighter XX, while Nao Ichimichi plays Sesera Sakurama's role.

Keiichi Sato directed the first season at Yostar Pictures, with Keiichiro Ochi as the scriptwriter and supervisor. Kahoko Koseki designed the characters as the chief animation director and character designer, while Yoshihiro Ike composed the series' music.


What to expect in Go! Go! Loser Ranger! season 2?

Considering the first season covered the Bailong's Nest Arc from the original manga, Go! Go! Loser Ranger! season 2 could begin the adaptation from chapter 52, beginning with the Dreamy School Life Arc.

With Blue Keeper down, Fighter D will look to overwhelm the four remaining Keepers to get his revenge and accomplish his goal. However, the upcoming season will see the Monster face many challenges and obstacles.
