Monday, August 12, 2024, saw the official website for the Hamidashi Creative anime series reveal its October 2024 release date and more, alongside the release of a new PV. The latest promotional video was also released alongside a new key visual for the series, which is an adaptation of Madosoft’s original visual novel of the same name.
In total, the latest batch of news for the Hamidashi Creative anime series confirmed the release date, theme song and artist, main cast, and staff, alongside the release of the trailer and key visual. It seems only the starring cast was announced in this latest batch of news, suggesting that additional characters and cast members will be revealed as October draws nearer.
Crowdfunded Hamidashi Creative anime series premieres in Japan on Friday, October 4, 2024
The Hamidashi Creative anime has officially confirmed its Friday, October 4, 2024, release date in Japan at 1AM Japanese Standard Time (JST). The series will first premiere on the Tokyo MX channel at this time, premiering on the Sun TV and Aichi TV channels on Sunday, October 6, and the KBS Kyoto channel on Tuesday, October 8.
The series stars Megumi Toda as Hiyori Izumi, Hotori Asami as Kano Tokiwa, Yukino Tsumugi as Asumi Nishiki, Miki Horiba as Sio Kamakura, and Rie Okamoto as Ameri Ryukan. As mentioned above, it’s expected that additional cast members and characters will be revealed throughout the weeks leading into the anime’s premiere. Megu Sakuragawa will be performing the anime’s opening theme song, entitled “Hayo, New World.”
Hayabusa Film is animating the series, with previous announcements also including Frontier Engine in animation production. Hisayoshi Hirasawa is the general director and is also the anime’s sound director. Shige Fukase is directing the anime series and in charge of storyboard, while Keiya Nakano is designing the characters based on Tsumire Utsunomiya’s original character designs. Nakano is also the chief animation director. Additional staff includes:

The crowdfunded anime series was initially announced on June 30, 2023, via the launch of the Campfire crowdfunding campaign. The campaign remarkably met its 10 million yen (roughly $67,747 USD) goal in five minutes, ending in August 2023 with a final total of 113,984,000 yen (roughly $772,207 USD).
The Hamidashi Creative anime's goal is to develop 12 episodes, each with a length of two minutes and 30 seconds. The original visual novel was released for PC, Android, and iOS in 2020, with PlayStation 4 and Switch versions being released in 2021. Madosoft has previously had their titles adapted into television anime series, such as April 2016’s Wagamama High Spec adaptation.
