Hazure Skill "Kinomi Master" is scheduled to air on January 7, 2025, a promotional video released on the official YouTube channel of DMM Pictures on Thursday, November 21, announced. The promotional video also unveiled new voice casting, staff members, and the opening theme song artist.

Hazure Skill "Kinomi Master" is based on a manga series written by Hanyuu and illustrated by Air Matsu Koto. The manga series is ongoing and has six volumes in publications (Japanese). The manga has also received a light novel adaptation, with one volume in serialization (Japanese).

The promotional video commenced with a focus on some civilians eating some fruits. One of these civilians was the male protagonist, who ate another fruit later and obtained some extraordinary powers. The video then showcased some scenes from the anime series and ended by unveiling the series' release date as January 7, 2024.

The video also previewed the opening song of the series, titled Bravely Dance. It will be performed by VTubers Lamy Yukihana and Pepechi (Aglio, Olio e Peperoncino). The latter singer has also performed the ending theme song of The Cáfe Terrace and its Goddesses season 2.

The new voice-casting members were also unveiled for the Hazure Skill "Kinomi Master" anime. Sayaka Ohara (Masaki Kurosaki from Bleach) will voice Saint, Ai Kakumi (Rossweisse from High School DxD) will play Hana Boushi, Katsuhisa Houki (Jinbe from One Piece) will portray Torahige, and Takehito Koyasu (Roswaal from Re: Zero) will voice Hakamori.

For the main cast, Tauma Nagatsuka (Kouji from My Hero Academia) will play Light, Haruna Mikawa (Jin-Ah from Solo Leveling) will voice Ayla, Akira Sekine (Saki from Senpai is an Otokonoko) will voice Dratena, Hana Tamegai will play Monica, and Lynn (Lilya from Mushoku Tensei) will portray Lena.

Some new staff members were also revealed. Interestingly, Tomohide Kikunaga (Key Animator of Tokyo Revengers) is the monster designer, and Wen Xin He (director of photography for Gushing Over Magical Girls) is the director of photography.

Hazure Skill "Kinomi Master" takes place in a fantasy world where people obtain superpowers by eating a special fruit called the skill fruit. However, this fruit could only be eaten once, and eating it twice would lead to death.

Light, the male protagonist, obtains the skill of Nut Master (a useless skill) after eating his first fruit. He continued his life as a farmer but consumed a second fruit one day. Not dying after eating a second fruit, Light might be destined for something greater than he ever imagined.
