Sunday, July 21, 2024, saw a website open for the television Headhunted to Another World anime series, also releasing key promotional material and confirming a 2025 release window. More specifically, the website began streaming a roughly 90-second-long promotional video for the series and a key visual featuring central characters Dennosuke Uchimura and Ulmandra, as well as the Demon King.

In addition, the Headhunted to Another World anime series also confirmed its starring cast members and key staff, including the director, animation studio, and more. While the staff list shared is presumed to be a full one, fans can expect additional cast members to be announced as 2024 draws to a close and the series’ 2025 release window approaches.

As mentioned above, the Headhunted to Another World anime, fully titled Headhunted to Another World: From Salaryman to Big Four!, is set to release sometime in the 2025 calendar year. Unfortunately, no additional release information was provided, meaning fans have no idea of the rough season the series will air in, let alone an exact month and/or day.

The series did confirm three of its central cast members, who can be heard in the promotional video voicing their respective characters. This includes Yuki Ono as Dennosuke Uchimura, Konomi Kohara as Ulmandra, and Akio Otsuka as the Demon King.

Ono is likely best known as JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure’s Josuke Higashikata, while Kohara is best known as Kaguya-sama’s Chika Fujiwara, and Otsuka as Bleach’s Shunsui Kyoraku.

Michio Fukuda is directing the anime at GEEK TOYS and CompTown studios, with Seung-Deok Kim listed as assistant director. Hiroko Fukuda is in charge of the series scripts while Ayumi Nishibata is designing the characters, and Takafumi Wada is composing the music for the anime series. Additional staff includes:

The Headhunted to Another World anime serves as a television anime adaptation of author Benigashira and illustrator Muramitsu’s original manga series of the same name. The manga debuted on Overlap’s Comic Gardo web manga service in December 2019. Seven Seas publishes the manga in English, describing its story as follows:

“Dennosuke Uchimura is just an ordinary Japanese salaryman, until he's sent to work in Vietnam where he dies in a hit-and-run accident. Uchimura is reincarnated and summoned to another world by the Demon King, who offers him a new job–as one of the Four Heavenly Kings of his army!
