Hokkaido Gals Are Super Adorable! manga announces September 2024 ending date

On Tuesday, August 13, 2024, Shueisha's MANGA Plus announced that Kai Ikada's Hokkaido Gals Are Super Adorable! manga will end its serialization on Jump+ on September 10, 2024. Shueisha will publish the manga's penultimate chapter on August 27, 2024, and the final chapter on September 10, 2024.

According to the announcement, the final chapter will coincide with the manga's fifth anniversary. Kai Ikada has also shared an illustration to commemorate the manga's long journey. Recently, an anime adaptation of Hokkaido Gals Are Super Adorable! manga was released in Japan, which aired 12 episodes from January 2024 to March 2024.

As mentioned earlier, Shueisha's MANGA Plus shared an illustration on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, to announce that Kai Ikada's Hokkaido Gals Are Super Adorable! manga will end in two more chapters. Chapter 118 is set to be released on August 27, 2024, and the final chapter (119) will be released on September 10, 2024.

Interestingly, the final chapter coincides with the manga's 5th anniversary. The Japanese publication company has extended its gratitude to fans, who have supported the series for a long time. The company urged fans to show support until the end.

Notably, the illustration that came with the announcement depicts the main heroine, Minami Fuyuki, and the protagonist, Tsubasa Shiki. They are seen sleeping peacefully. Minami has a content expression, while the boy sleeps soundly. Kai Ikada has drawn the visual.

Kai Ikada's Hokkaido Gals Are Super Adorable! manga has been serialized on the Shonen Jump+ application and website since September 2019, with 13 tankobon volumes published thus far. Aside from Shonen Jump+, Shueisha's MANGA Plus platform lets fans read the manga for free.

Recently, the manga inspired an anime adaptation under the Silver Link and Blade Studios' joint production. The rom-com series aired 12 episodes for a one-cour run from January 9, 2024, to March 26, 2024. Crunchyroll streamed the series for global audiences as it aired in Japan. No sequel has been announced thus far.
