The Hunter X Hunter manga is set to go on hiatus following the official release of chapter 410. This information was unveiled with the spoilers for the latest manga chapter. Hence, after the release of Weekly Shonen Jump magazine issue #2, the manga won't release new chapters until it is decided.
As fans know by now, Hunter X Hunter has been on repeated hiatuses due to the manga creator Yoshihiro Togashi's chronic health issues. Thus, an alternative release schedule was in the talks when the manga made its most recent return to Weekly Shonen Jump. With the release of chapter 410, it seems like Shueisha is finally set to take action on it.
Hunter X Hunter manga to go on indefinite hiatus
Hunter X Hunter chapter 410 is officially set to be released on Monday, December 10, 2024. However, days before its release, manga leakers online got their hands on the Weekly Shonen Jump issue #2 2024.
With that, it was unveiled that Yoshihiro Togashi's Hunter X Hunter manga is set to go on an indefinite hiatus following the release of chapter 410.
As Shueisha has yet to decide on the series' new release schedule, the manga has no return date. However, the announcement made it clear that the next chapter will be released as soon as it is decided.
Fortunately, as per the Togashi's updates on X, there is good reason to believe that the manga will return soon. This is because he has already finished inking up to chapter 422 and has seemingly finished working on chapter 413. Hence, it is certain that the manga creator is hard at work. The only issue right now is the pacing and schedule, which will decided by Togashi and Shueisha.
