Hunter X Hunter author Yoshihiro Togashi was recently confirmed to be the next mangaka to make a cover for the Dragon Ball Super Gallery project and a lot of fans took this news with a lot of humor. Not in a disrespectful way toward Togashi but rather them joking about how his manga is never going to come out of hiatus at this rate.

There is no denying that Hunter X Hunter is as known for its hiatus as it is for its quality as a series, so the Dragon Ball Super Gallery project was the perfect opportunity to make jokes about this situation. Naturally, it is all in the spirit of good fun since one of the main reasons for the constant hiatus is Yoshihiro Togashi's health, which most fans want him to recover from.

Now that it has been confirmed that Yoshihiro Togashi is going to be the next mangaka for the Dragon Ball Super Gallery project, a lot of fans on X have joked about how this is going to delay the return of his own series even further. This has been a running meme in the anime and manga community as Togashi's hiatus from his series has become rather infamous in the medium.

Togashi has mentioned time and time again throughout his career that he has suffered from back problems, even going as far as his days making Yu Yu Hakusho in the 90s. This has been a stumbling block when trying to draw his manga, with a lot of fans also joking about how his addiction to playing the Dragon Quest franchise has been another impediment.

Several Hunter X Hunter fans have been making jokes online regarding how the Dragon Ball Super Gallery project is now going to be delayed because of Togashi's constant hiatus. As mentioned earlier, this is all in good fun since most people want him to recover from his health problems and have an easier life in that regard.
