Hypnosis Mic-Division Rap Battle movie announces February 2025 release date with PV

On November 10, 2024, Hypnosis Mic-Division Rap Battle announced a new movie through a teaser trailer on their official YouTube channel, set to be released on February 21, 2025. Both of these were animated by animation studio A-1 Pictures (Solo Leveling). The upcoming movie, branded a side-story, will be animated by Polygon Pictures (Ajin).

The newly announced staff members for Hypnosis Mic: Division Rap Battle movie include Takanori Tsujimoto (director of Biohazard: Vendetta) as the director and Yuuchiro Momose (scriptwriter of Maou 2099) as the scriptwriter. Kazui is returning as the series' character designer.

The anime is a music series set in a fictional world where females have taken over the world's politics and have destroyed every kind of weapon to abolish war and crime.

However, men have taken music as a way of fighting and brawling using the hypnosis mics that affect the opponent's mind and body using words. The biggest part in this was played by The Dirty Dawg, a legendary rap group, which split into four groups and announced territorial battles in different parts of the country.
