I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World officially gets a new anime project 

It has been reported that the popular isekai fantasy series I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World and Became Unrivaled in the Real World, Too, shortened as Iseleve, is supposedly getting a new anime project based on it. The information was released today on the official website of the series.

The anime centers around Yuuya Tenjo, a mistreated and abandoned youngster who finds a doorway to another realm in the home of his deceased grandpa. In the new world, he learns cheat techniques that help him become stronger and more capable in both realms.

I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World anime project likely to continue Yuuya's story

The new anime endeavor will most surely be a follow-up to the anime adaptation's initial season, which ran from April to June 2023. Season 1 of the show was produced by TMS Entertainment and animated by Millepensee. Streaming giant Crunchyroll aired the series globally and made it available on its platform. I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World is also available for streaming on Netflix, depending on the viewers’ region.

Miku, the original author of I Got a Cheat in Another World, shared their happiness about the launch of the upcoming anime project, writing,

“A new announcement has been made. I’m really looking forward to seeing what happens. We hope that you will continue to watch over the ‘Iseleve’ series warmly.”

The series' illustrator Reine Kuwashima added,

It can speculated that the cast and crew of I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World season 1 will return for the new project. The anime series, which is based on a light novel series written by Miku and illustrated by Reine Kuwashima, was first published on the Kakuyomu website in March 2017.

Fujimi Shobo has been publishing the light novel series under the Fujimi Fantasia Bunko brand since December 2018, and as of September 2023, 14 volumes have been published.

Moreover, since December 2019, a Kazuomi Minatogawa-illustrated manga adaptation has been serialized on the Dengeki PlayStation Comic Web website of ASCII Media Works. Five volumes have been released as of August 2023.

Additionally, a free-to-play MMORPG web game titled The I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World and Became Unrivaled in the Real World Too: Parallel Universe was announced on March 17, 2023, and was inspired by the series. Fans can expect additional information, which includes the new anime's release date and format, to be made available soon on the official website.
