On Monday, September 9, 2024, the official website of I Have a Crush at Work anime unveiled that the series will premiere in January 2025. The announcement was made with a promotional video that also announced the anime's main cast and staff members.
I Have a Crush at Work, written and illustrated by Akamaru Enomoto, is a Japanese manga series that began serialization in Kodansha's seinen manga magazine Morning in March 2019. The manga was collected into 15 compiled volumes and finished serialization in January 2023.

On Monday, September 9, 2024, I Have a Crush at Work anime announced that it will premiere in January 2024. This was announced with a promotional video that also unveiled the series's cast and staff members.
The promotional video mainly focused on the anime's two main characters, Yui Mitsuya and Masugu Tateishi. Mitsuya and Tateishi weren't dating one another but were crushing on one another to the point that they were having an in-office affair.
They try keeping their affair a secret from their co-workers but, as suggested by the promotional video, are seemingly soon set to get found out by their fellow officegoer Keisuke Somei.
For now, the anime has unveiled the cast members for five characters. Seiichirou Yamashita will be voicing Masugu Tateishi and Yume Miyamoto will be voicing Yui Mitsuya. Yamashita has previously voiced Edward Midford in Black Butler and Cid Kagenou in The Eminence in Shadow. As for Miyamoto, she has previously voiced Rouge Redstar in Metallic Rouge and Chi Nishikata in Teasing Master Takagi-san.
Joining them are Shizuka Itou, Reiou Tsuchida, and You Taichi, who will be voicing Shizuno Hayakawa, Keisuke Somei, and Maria Morizono, respectively. Shizuka Itou has previously voiced Enchantress in Suicide Squad ISEKAI and Yoriko Kichijouji in Oshi no Ko. Reiou Tsuchida has previously voiced Souta Kazama in My Senpai is Annoying. Lastly, You Taichi has previously voiced Anzu Yokoyama in Prison School and Jousuke Higashikata in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.
I Have a Crush at Work anime will be directed by former Re:Zero episode director Naoko Takeichi at studio BLADE with Masahiro Yokotani overseeing the scripts. Joining them is Mina Ousawa, who will be acting as the anime's character designer.
