On Wednesday, October 23, 2024, the official staff for I'm a Behemoth, an S-Ranked Monster anime shared a new promotional video to announce that the show will premiere in January 2025. Along with the announcement, information regarding the additional cast, staff, and the opening theme song has been released.
Fully titled I'm a Behemoth, an S-Ranked Monster but Mistaken for a Cat, I Live as an Elf Girl's Pet, the fantasy anime is based on Nozomi Ginyoku's light novel series of the same name. Micro Magazine has been publishing the light novel series since 2018 with art by Mitsuki Yano. The light novels have also inspired a manga adaptation with Taro Shinonome's illustrations.

On Wednesday, October 23, 2024, the official website and X (formerly Twitter) handle for I'm a Behemoth, an S-Ranked Monster anime revealed the series' main trailer to confirm the title's January 2025 debut. However, an exact release date wasn't disclosed.
The latest promotional video opens with a valiant knight reborn as a fearsome Behemoth, except he looks like a kitten. Aria, a kind elf takes Tama in and tends to his wounds. The short PV depicts the knight's new life as Tama, as he gets involved in embarrassing situations with Aria and others.
Aside from Tama, the trailer features two new characters, Lily and Feri. According to the short clip, Nonoka Obuchi voices Lily, a Hypixie girl from the fairy tribe, while Yu Wakui lends her voice to Feli, a hydride girl from the same tribe. The trailer showcases their shenanigans and relationship with Tama.

Tetsuo Hirakawa directs the Isekai fantasy anime at Zero-G and Saber Works studios, with Kanichi Kato in charge of the series composition and supervision. Tomoyuki Abe is credited as the character designer and chief animation director. The staff also announced that Yusuke Shirato and Oni will compose the anime's music.
