On Monday, September 16, 2024, the official staff at the Aniplex Online Fest 2024 revealed a promotional video for I'm Getting Married to a Girl I Hate in My Class anime. According to the video, the series will air in January 2025. The short clip also previews the anime's ending theme song. Additionally, the staff revealed details about additional cast members for the rom-com series.

I'm Getting Married to a Girl I Hate in My Class anime is based on the eponymous rom-com light novel series by Seiju Amano (author) and Nanami Nurumi (illustrator). Media Factory has been publishing the novels, with eight volumes released thus far.

Aniplex Online Fest 2024 featured a stage event for the I'm Getting Married to a Girl I Hate in My Class anime on Monday, September 16, 2024. The event was graced by Shogo Sakata (VA for Saito Hojo) and Hinaki Yano (Akane Sakuramori).

The voice actors shared the first promotional video for I'm Getting Married to a Girl I Hate in My Class anime and confirmed the show's January 2025 release date.

The official trailer features Saito and Akane, who find out that they have to get married, even though they dislike each other. Besides them, the PV depicts other characters, like Himari, Chiyo, etc. The short video further reveals and previews the rom-com anime's ending theme song, Suki Kirai mo Oikoshite (Overtaking Love and Hate).

New cast members for the anime have been announced. Sayumi Suzushiro stars as Himari Ishikura, Akane's best friend, while Nene Hieda voices Shisei Hojo, Saito Hojo's cousin. Hochu Ootsuka lends his voice to Tenryu Hojo, Saito's grandfather and CEO of a large company, with Fumi Hirano playing Akane's grandmother, Chiyo.

The rom-com anime stars Shogo Sakata as Saito Honjo and Hinaki Yano as Akane Sakuramori. Notably, comments from the new voice actors have arrived on the anime's official website, where they shared their excitement to be part of the series.

Hiroyuki Oshima directs the series at Studio Gokumi and AXsiZ, with Tatsuya Takahashi supervising the scripts. Nanako Tatsu is credited as the character designer, while Arisa Okehazama is the music composer. EGG FIRM is listed as the series' producer.

Based on the rom-com light novel series, I'm Getting Married to a Girl I Hate in My Class anime centers around Saito Hojo, who marries Akane Sakuramori, his classmate & worst enemy, due to unusual circumstances.

As a newlywed couple, Saito and Akane constantly bicker at each other. Yet as they learn more about each other, the distance between them closes, and they develop affection for each other.
