The PV for the anime followed Alina Clover, the protagonist, in a simple day-in-the-life montage. It revealed how Alina attended an academy and trained in various disciplines to become a Guild Receptionist, hoping that she'd quickly handle the work and be able to go home while maintaining a good work-life balance.
However, Alina soon realizes that the actual reality is far different than the ones depicted in the academy. Complaints and requests kept piling up while numerous other adventurers kept pestering her throughout the day.
Alina's nights were an endless loop of all-nighters in the guild spent sorting and processing numerous documents and licenses. Frustrated at the collapse of her dream and the inability to leave work on time eventually makes her realize that the boss of the nearby dungeon was the main reason for such a huge volume of adventurers.
Frustrated, Alina momentarily leaves her desk job and assumes the disguise of an adventurer who goes on to one-shot the boss. Although Alina thought that the boss's death would ease up her workload, it simply backfires since even more adventurers start looking for the one that one-shotted the boss.
The anime is currently scheduled for release in January 2025 and will be animated by Studio CloverWorks. It is a fan-favorite studio known for its recent adaptations of Spy X Family, Horimiya, and BOCCHI THE ROCK!. Rei Takahashi, renowned for her roles as Megumin from Konosuba, will be voicing Alina Clover, while Tsuyoshi Nagasawa will be the director of the anime.
