The promotional video for I’ve Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years season 2 began by focusing on the series’ central cast living their homestead-style life together. New characters also appeared in the trailer, and new troubles were teased. The roughly two-minute promotional video continues in this fashion until its final moments, revealing the April 2025 release window and additional info.
As mentioned above, the third key visual features some of the series’ central characters, including protagonist Azusa Aizawa. The key visual is seemingly Halloween-themed, featuring a giant pumpkin in the background, paper bats hung from the ceiling, and jack-o-lantern-esque carved pumpkins in the foreground. It’s possible that the concept of Halloween could tie into and play a significant role in season 2’s events.
The anime’s main cast is confirmed to be returning for I’ve Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years season 2, but the staff is seeing some major changes. Most notably, Kunihisa Sugishima is replacing Nobukage Kimura as the director, with studio Teddy animating the second season and replacing Revoroot studios. Naohiro Fukushima, an episode scriptwriter from the first season, is now supervising the series’ scripts in place of Tasuya Takahashi.
Hikaru Kodama replaces Keisuke Goto as the character designer, while Keiji Inai returns to compose the music. I’ve Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years season 2 will serve as the continuation of the television anime adaptation of author Kisetsu Morita and illustrator Benio’s original light novel series. Crunchyroll describes the anime as follows:
“An at-home comedy about a powerful girl who doesn't work too hard!(⋈◍ ˃ᴗ˂ ◍)。✧♡ After dying of overwork in the real world, I'm reincarnated as an immortal witch, and I spend 300 years enjoying a relaxing life. It further reads as:
