With the spoilers from the Jujutsu Kaisen epilogue chapter having leaked out, the manga finally revealed Yuta Okkotsu's fate post-series. As revealed by Panda's epilogue chapter, Yuta Okkotsu is set to be named the Acting Head representative of the Gojo clan post-series.

As fans might remember, after the manga depicted the fight between the Jujutsu sorcerers and Ryomen Sukuna, it did not spend a lot of time fleshing out the other characters' fates. Thus, with the epilogue chapter released in the manga's final volume, Gege Akutami reveals the fates of Nobara, Panda, Ozawa, and Uraume post-series.

Yuta Okkotsu ends up as Gojo Clan's active head in Jujutsu Kaisen

As revealed by Panda's epilogue chapter in Jujutsu Kaisen's final volume, Yuta Okkotsu ends up as the Acting Head Representative of the Gojo Clan.

The epilogue is about Yuta's grandkids coming across Panda as a doll in the Gojo Clan's storage room. Yuta's granddaughter was curious about the Panda toy while his grandson warned his sister from touching the Cursed Corpse. Just then, Panda starts moving, scaring the children.

As explained by the manga chapter's narrator, after the sorcery terrorism that took place in 2018, Panda's Mutual Observation Type Independent Control lost its function, after which, it stopped activity in October 2035.

Hence, later when Panda was registered in the Gojo Clan's storage, Yuta Okkotsu having been the Clan's Active Head Representative at the time, was granted its ownership. Surprisingly, the Cursed Corpse still moves around sometimes in 2080 as well.

Fans' reaction to Yuta becoming the Gojo Clan Head Representative

Many fans were elated to learn Yuta Okkotsu's fate post-series. They were especially happy because becoming the head of the Gojo Clan was a huge achievement. Hence, Yuta taking over the position was praiseworthy.

"Woah thats incredible," one fan said.

"Yuta haters rly quiet today," another added.

"Well, which other Gojo clan member do we know anyway," another fan questioned.

"I was kinda expecting this. He is a distant relative, after all!," other fan said.

That said, not all fans were amused after learning about his development. This is because Yuta Okkotsu was realistically the only character from the Gojo Clan that the manga revealed. While it was revealed that Satoru Gojo's parents were alive, they were never shown in the manga.
