As described by certain accounts on the social media platform X, a "super crazy" project announcement for the Jujutsu Kaisen series is scheduled for next week. Jujutsu Kaisen causes widespread anticipation among fans with an announcement of massive project for the next Weekly Shonen Jump issue

Although the majority of fans were heavily disappointed due to the delay in the release of Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 266 spoilers, which was pushed back by a day, the alleged spoilers of the upcoming chapter more than made up for it. Additionally, a number of exciting announcements were also made for next week's issue of the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine.

Jujutsu Kaisen's mangaka, Gege Akutami, has been confirmed to be working on a new magazine cover for next week's issue of Weekly Shonen Jump, as well as a new artwork for the lead color page. Additionally, the full results of the 4th Jujutsu Kaisen popularity poll have also been confirmed to be revealed next week, alongside the release of chapter 267.

However, the most exciting news by far, was the announcement of a major project for the series, that has been confirmed to be revealed on next week's issue of Weekly Shonen Jump.

As per the popular Jujutsu Kaisen spoiler account, @Go_Jover, on the social media account X (formerly Twitter), the major project has been described as "super crazy", which indicates that it is something of a magnitude that can result in fans going gaga upon hearing it.

Given that the announcement is still a week away, fans are bound to come up with outlandish theories and suggestions regarding what the major project could be about. Many started guessing right off the bat, as suggestions ranged from a movie for the Culling Games arc to a sequel to the Cursed Clash game, all the way up to hopes for a spinoff manga for Nobara Kugisaki.

On the other hand, there were those who were not as optimistic about the major project revelation as others. This is due to the fact that "major announcements" for an anime series usually end up being a massive letdown for the fans, with the most recent example being My Hero Academia's announcement of a global popularity poll after the manga came to an end.

As such, fans are opting to wait till the project is revealed in next week's issue of Weekly Shonen Jump, instead of instantly getting their hopes up for it.
