Jump Festa 2025 began with the exciting reveal of the Jujutsu Kaisen season 3 key visual and the Hidden Inventory movie’s release date at the Super Stage for Gege Akutami’s series. A 16-page epilogue for the manga series which would focus on the characters of Nobara Kugisaki, Panda, Yuko Ozawa, and Uraume was also announced.

While many fans were hoping for a Jujutsu Kaisen season 3 trailer to be revealed at Jump Festa 2025, the upcoming sequel series wasn’t discussed at all outside of the key visual. In between all of the above was an exceptionally well-hosted panel by franchise voice actors Junya Enoki (Yuji Itadori), Asami Seto (Nobara Kugisaki), and Yuichi Nakamura (Satoru Gojo).

Jujutsu Kaisen season 3 reveals key visual, but no trailer at Jump Festa 2025 stage

The only Jujutsu Kaisen season 3 news to come out of the series’ Jump Festa 2025 stage was the reveal of a key visual for the series. The visual features the stylistic artwork of Yuji Itadori, seemingly depicting the pain and isolation he feels following the Shibuya Incident Arc’s events.

This is supported by the caption to a post with the image on the franchise’s official X account, which reads,

“I can’t be with everyone anymore.”

Beyond this, no new information is revealed regarding the highly anticipated third season, which will adapt the Culling Games Arc. However, the anime also reveals the Japanese release date for its upcoming Hidden Inventory compilation film, as well as a new key visual featuring a teenaged Suguru Geto and Satoru Gojo. The film will be released in Japanese theaters on Friday, May 30, 2025.

Other significant news outside of the above anime-centric information is notably the inclusion of a 16-page epilogue to the original manga in the final volumes. This epilogue is set to feature the characters of Nobara Kugisaki, Uraume, Panda, and Yuko Ozawa. It was also announced that Ryomen Sukuna would be coming to the franchise’s Phantom Parade mobile game on December 30, 2024.

Lastly, a new exhibition-style event for the series was seemingly announced via a graphic and text, with the graphic featuring new artwork of Sukuna and Yuji. A date range of April to June 2025 appeared here, with that timeframe being typical of series-celebratory exhibitions.

In between these significant pieces of news, voice actors Enoki, Seto, and Nakamura hosted a wonderful panel. Unfortunately, Megumi Fushiguro’s voice actor Yuma Uchida was seemingly unable to attend last minute. This led to the absence of dialogue from Megumi in activities like the opening manga video which was voice-acted in real-time, a subsequent audio-only performance, and later renditions of each character’s most popular scenes.

These scenes were seemingly decided by fan vote, including Megumi’s which was shared via text. However, since the text was in Japanese, it’s unclear which of his scenes won. Yuji’s chosen scene was his internal monologue as he watched Megumi and his sister “Tsumiki” reunite. Nobara’s was her fight with Momo Nishimiya, while Gojo’s was a brief scene from the early section of his fight with Sukuna, where he says his students are watching.
