KISS OF LIFE dazzles audiences with a One Piece-inspired performance at this year's The Fact Music Awards. The event's location, in the heart of anime culture, added a deeper layer of significance to the group's tribute, blending the world of anime with the vibrant energy of K-pop.
Each of the four members donned One Piece-themed outfits: Natty channeled the series' protagonist, Monkey D. Luffy, while Julie took on the role of Cat Burglar Nami. Belle paid homage to Black Leg Sanji, and Haneul captivated the audience as Pirate Hunter Zoro, bringing beloved characters to life on stage.
The stage was set with a dramatic opening, featuring the One Piece OST track Overtaken as the INTRO. The main performance kicked off with KISS OF LIFE performing their hit songs, Sticky and Midas Touch.
In the opening act, Natty sported Luffy's iconic straw hat, while Julie showcased Nami's tattoo on her left shoulder. As the performance progressed, Natty struck Luffy's signature pose, and Haneul briefly wielded swords, emulating Zoro.
Belle executed Sanji's kick moves with a cigarette between her lips, and Julie performed with the log pose on her wrist. The act culminated with all members striking the signature left-arm-in-the-air pose of the Straw Hats.
The performances by KISS OF LIFE and the boy band xikers at the event were particularly special, as both groups prepared tributes to senior artists. The girl group's set honored BLACKPINK and 2NE1, featuring covers of songs by both iconic groups later in their performance.
