On Saturday, June 22, 2024, the official X account for Takeru Hokazono's manga (@Kagurabachi_X), unveiled the cover illustration for Kagurabachi Volume 3, featuring Chihiro Rokuhira, Hiyuki Kagari, and Kyora Sazanami.

Notably, the Kagurabachi Volume 3 cover illustration has a symbolism embedded within. Hiyuki Kagari's reflection is shown on the right side, i.e., the blunt side of the blade, suggesting or rather foreshadowing Chihiro's truce with her in the Rakuzaichi arc.

Likewise, Kyora Sazanami's image is reflected on the right side of Enten, i.e., the sharper side. Symbolically, it means that Chihiro isn't hesitant to cut down the Sazanami clan head. Takeru Hokazono has masterfully drawn the illustration, while subtly hinting at the fates of the two crucial characters in the arc.
