KamiErabi God.app season 2 confirms October 2024 release date and more with main PV

KamiErabi God.app season 2 will premiere on October 3, 2024, the anime's official staff confirmed on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, via the main promotional video. The short clip also reveals a new cast member and theme songs. Additionally, the staff has unveiled the show's main key visual.

KamiErabi God.app season 2 is the sequel to the previous installment, which aired 12 episodes from October 2023 to December 2023. It's an original TV anime series focusing on the battle royal, with high school students playing for their survival. The sequel is set to be the final season of the franchise.

KamiErabi God.app season 2's main trailer confirms October 3, 2024, release date

On Wednesday, September 18, 2024, the official website and X account for KamiErabi God.app season 2 shared the main trailer to reveal October 3, 2024, as the release date.

Broadcast details have also arrived, according to which KamiErabi God.app season 2 will air its episodes every Thursday at 12.55 am JST on Fuji TV's +Ultra Programming timeslot, starting October 3.

Following its broadcast, the anime can be streamed on digital platforms in Japan from October 3, 2024, at 12 pm JST. Crunchyroll streamed the first season in America, Europe, Africa, CIS, and Oceania, as it aired in Japan. Line VOOM will stream the first season on September 27, 2024, at 6 pm JST.

Notably, the latest promotional video teases the plot and depicts new characters who will appear in the sequel. The PV has also revealed and previewed the anime's opening theme song, Fuka (Weathering), performed by Nanashi no Taro, and the ending song, Kofuku no Susume (Advance For Happiness), sung by LEEVELLES.

Comments from the theme song artists have arrived on the anime's official site, where they urged fans to enjoy the songs. Besides that, the trailer reveals Misaki Kuno as the new cast member. She voices Eko Sasaki, Lall's elementary school friend, who happens to be privately investigating the 828 incident.

In her comments on the website, Misaki Kuno reveals how she wanted to play such a role. Kuno-san added that a new door of happiness opened when she read the script for the first time.

The main key visual for the KamiErabi God.app season 2 has also been revealed, showcasing the important characters (Yutaka, Koki, and others) who will appear in the sequel.

Hiroyuki Seshita directs the series at UNEND, with JIN supervising the show's composition and scripts. Yoko Taro is credited as the series' original creator, while Atsushi Ohkubo is the character designer. MONACA is enlisted as the music composer.

Since the previous season ended with Goro's disappearance, KamiErabi God.app season 2 will show Lall, Goro's younger sister, attempting her best to try and revive him. However, it won't be easy since she's the only one who remembers Goro.
