Love Live! Superstar!! season 3 is set to premiere on October 6, 2024. This was confirmed by the anime's official staff on Sunday, August 4, 2024, with a promotional video and key visual. Additionally, the staff has revealed the broadcast information for the sequel.
Love Live! Superstar!! season 3 serves as a sequel to the previous installment, which aired 12 episodes from July 2022 to October 2022. The sequel was green-lit after the season 2 finale. Earlier this year, the staff mentioned that season 3 will premiere in Fall 2024.

On Sunday, August 4, 2024, the official website and X (formerly Twitter) handle for the Love Live! Superstar!! franchise shared a promotional video and key visual to announce that Love Live! Superstar!! season 3 will be released on October 6, 2024, i.e., in Fall 2024.
The broadcast information has also arrived, according to which, Love Live! Superstar!! season 3 will air its episodes every Sunday from 5 pm JST on NHK Educational TV, starting October 6, 2024.
The promotional video features the members of the school club Liella, ready for their next performance. Besides that, the short clip subtly hints at the narrative for season 3.
Aside from the promotional video, the staff has unveiled a key visual for the series. The illustration features the nine members of the school idol club, Liella, from the previous two installments, as well as Wien Margarete and Natsuki Onitsuka.
The anime's official website has also confirmed that the opening and ending theme songs will be performed by the members of the Leilla group. The sequel will see the previous voice actors returning to reprise their roles.

Hajime Yatate is credited as the original creator of this musical anime series, while Yuuhei Murota is the original character designer. Takahiko Kyogoku directs at Sunrise Studios, with Jukki Hanada as the series composer & script supervisor. Yoshiaki Fujisawa handles the music.
The series centers around Kanon Shibuya, Keke, and other aspiring idols from the Yuigaoka Girls's High School, who form a school idol group, Liella, to perform their hearts out. They embark on a journey to become dazzling idols.
