Magic Maker anime announced for 2025 with PV and visual

On Wednesday, July 10, 2024, the official staff shared a promotional video and visual to announce the production of Magic Maker anime. According to the announcement, the title is set to premiere in 2025. Besides the PV and the visual, the staff has also released details regarding the anime's cast and staff.

Magic Maker anime, fully titled Magic Maker: How To Make Magic In Another World, is an adaptation of Kaburagi Kazuki's light novel series. The author launched the novels on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website in 2017. Kadokawa publishes the light novel with Ten's illustrations. The novels also have a manga adaptation by Tomozo Nishioka.

Magic Maker anime's trailer announces 2025 release window

On Wednesday, July 10, 2024, Kadokawa streamed a promotional video to announce that Magic Maker anime, based on Kazuki Kaburagi's light novels of the same name, will be released in 2025. A new website and X account were opened to share the PV and reveal additional details.

The teaser trailer features the protagonist, Shion, and his sister, Marie. While the PV doesn't reveal much about the anime's plot, it is revealed that Shion cares deeply about magic. Moreover, it is also disclosed that he was a man from the modern world in his previous life.

Cast members for Shion and Marie have been announced. Megumi Han stars as Shion, while Ai Kakuma voices Marie in this Isekai anime. Comments from the voice actors have also arrived on the anime's site and X account, where they expressed their delight in being part of the series.

Interestingly, the promotional video previews their character voices for Shion and Marie. Along with the PV, the official staff unveiled a key visual. The illustration depicts Marie and Shion happily observing a magical phenomenon at a lake.

The main staff for the anime has been confirmed. Kazuomi Koga, who previously contributed to The Banished Former Hero Lived as He Pleases anime, directs the series at Studio Deen. Keiichiro Ochi is supervising and composing the series' scripts.

Takayuki Noguchi has joined the staff as the character designer, while Kana Hashiguchi and Kei Yoshikawa are enlisted as the music composers. TOY'S FACTORY is producing the music.

Based on Kazuki Kaburagi's light novel series, the anime follows the story of a man who dies in the modern world while harboring a deep interest in magic. After his death, he gets reincarnated in another world as Shion.

The protagonist discovers that magic doesn't exist in the new world as well. Yet, one day, while visiting a lake with his sister, Marie, he notices a magical phenomenon that leaves him hopeful.
